Last week, the free coloring page printable was about courage, the struggle to find the courage to be creative and this week, as we approach our seventh-week practicing physical distancing here in Canada, I am trying to make my main focus on cultivating the spirit of optimism. I have been practicing being optimistic for the best possible outcome, and hoping to inspire that, easy to lose sight of mindset in you too!
HOW ARE YOU MANAGING?
The shock of this Coronavirus pandemic comes in waves for me; first I was angry, next just sad and now I am in the frustrated phrase, but one thing is sure, I am trying hard to keep my glass-half-full mindset because it always seems to get me through the tough times. Are you doing anything special to help yourself maintain an optimistic outlook in your life right now?
COLORING IS A GREAT ACTIVITY FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!
Coloring while watching a movie can a good plan. At first, it may seem counterproductive to have two activities going at once. Still, moms with several children and significant age gaps know, there are times when you want the whole family to be together, but also times when the perfect movie for one, may not be the ideal fit for the other and that means drama.
Coloring becomes another quiet activity that keeps everyone together, only happier! -especially mom & dad!
LEAVE A SURPRISE PORCH DROP
I really enjoy giving gifts, especially meaningful or thoughtful ones that come from the heart, instead of the pocket.
As part of a sunshine gift box for the neighbors, a printable coloring page will be a welcomed addition! Definitely sunshine worthy! Even leave it on the porch for grandma or your child’s friends so they can color along with each other via zoom or face-time.
Go ahead, give it a try tonight and let me know if it helped you make peace within your household or connect better with a loved one. So important to connect right now, don’t forget!
When you colour-in this printable page, take a deep breath and a moment to reflect or discuss what it means to remain optimistic even during the most challenging times in your life.
Without hanging on to the optimism that things will get better, a drastic life change will of course be more difficult to endure, don’t do that to yourself, it will suck the creativity and joy right out of your body.
Just as those of us who live in 4 season climates,
EVERY WINTER HAS IT’S SPRING & THE SUN WILL ALWAYS SHINE AGAIN!
