Creativity takes courage... The Courage to not give up on your creative pursuits even when you are just beginning, trying something new and the comparison monster starts creeping in.

These days I have needed a reminder that to be creative one must have courage to keep going even when it doesn't go as planned, this pandemic sure threw an emotional wrench into my creative plans but here I am, determined, collecting my own courage and taking my own advice to push through no matter how long it takes and how frustrating it feels. .. I like to use my creative journal to motivate myself. Under all these layers of paint are tears and feelings. When I look at the finished art, I remember and am motivated.

I discovered, for my brain this is the perfect form of meditation.
